Chinese Teenage Girl Offers Virginity For iPhone 4

Despite the release of Android dual-core powerhouse smartphones such as the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S2, which are doing extremely well in global markets, there are some who cannot get enough of Apple products.

In the past, we heard of a Chinese teenager who sold his kidney for Apple’s iPad 2. Apparently, people will do absurd things to get Apple’s products. In another case of Apple insanity, a Chinese teenage girl is offering to give up her virginity for an iPhone 4. This is probably not as extreme as selling an organ, but an absurd and desperate attempt to own an Apple product nonetheless.

The news first broke out on a Korean website the Korean Herald. According to the website, the Chinese girl has posted an ad on Webio, a Chinese website similar to Twitter, complete with her pictures offering her virginity to anyone who can buy her an iPhone 4.

Apparently, her father opposed to getting her the Apple smartphone, which prompted her to offer her virginity to anyone who can get her the smartphone. Her dad must be raving mad by now.

There are a number reasons why this is just plain stupid. First of all, selling your virginity for material gains makes you a……you get the picture. Secondly, there are so many smartphones that are far more superior compared to the iPhone 4. Android phone manufacturers are offering dual-core-powered smartphones left and right. Lastly, the iPhone 5 is on the horizon, which puzzles us why she would peddle her virginity for something outdated.
