Top eBook Apps across Platforms
If you’re a digital bookworm, there are a number of eBook apps available out there. Since not all bookworms use the same platform, we have the top apps across platforms.
The first is MegaReader. The app can be used on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G S. It allows users to make use of the phone’s camera, which allows users to view what’s in front of them while reading. Although ideal for on the go reading, don’t try using the app while walking or driving.
The next app is the QI app. The app is not an eReader app, but allows users to find out more about the QI book series. It also allows users to add facts and rate other users’ comments.
The third app is the Marvel Comic reader. This allows readers to make use of high resolutions smartphones and enjoy the best of Marvel Comics. Its in-app purchasing feature allows users to purchase comic books from Marvel. This dynamic reader offers readers to easily flip from page to page by simply flicking the page from left to right. It also allows users to zoom in and out of a page.
The next app is Goodreads. The app allows users to form and join online book groups, make book recommendations, as well as make reviews and ratings to books. The app is available for the iPhone and Android handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The fourth app is Kobo. This is an app for iOS smartphones and tablets. The app offers social interactions, which earns users badges for reading and completing other tasks.
The last app is Phaigon Design Classics. The app may not be your conventional eBook reader, but it offers its users a wide collection of products, which were designed since the 1800s. The products offered come with sketches, photos, and additional information.
