Image of the Sony LT29i ‘Hayabusa’ leaked
Sony’s next generation smartphones have already made an appearance this year. These include the XPERIA S, XPERIA P, and XPERIA U. Now, yet another Sony handset called the LT29i ‘Hayabusa’ has been leaked on the internet.
The blurry image of the rumoured handset has been posted by the Ryuzaki, a user on the Chinese site mobile.it168.com. Other than the blurry image and the name ‘Hayabusa’, not much is known about the handset.
The leak shows three images of the handset in one shot. Shown is a black unit facing front and back. The last image is a white unit facing back. Although the image was poorly shot, the XPERIA branding can be seen below the Sony Ericsson logo. This suggests that the shot was taken when the company was still known as Sony Ericsson. Of course, there’s no way of telling whether the image is genuine or not.
We’re not entirely sure if this is the Hayabusa or not. However, if it is, it is said to come with better specs compared to the XPERIA S. According to rumours, the handset will sport a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU, a 13-megapixel camera that can record HDR videos, a 2200mAh battery, and a 4.55-inch Reality Display. With all of this all of this hardware under the hood, you may think the handset will be bulky. Think again. The handset is said to be a mere 7mm slim. It is expected to land in June.
