However, it is rumored that the powerful smartphone will be renamed the Sensation instead of the Pyramid. This will all be unveiled in HTC’s scheduled press release this coming April 12th.
To date the most impressive smartphone in HTC’s roster is the Desire S. This is the upgraded version of the Desire. To top it all off, the smartphone comes with the latest operating system Android has to offer. This is the Android OS version 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Sensation will dwarf the specifications of the Desire S. It is said to come with a massive 4.3 inch S-LCD capacitive touch screen. This is more than enough real estate to make you enjoy more from touch screen features. The massive display is also ideal for making video calls using the phone’s 8 MP primary camera and VGA secondary camera. Of course, the display is also more ideal for watching videos at 720p running at 30 fps.
Of course, the Android handset will run on the latest smartphone OS Android has to offer. It will be powered by the Gingerbread. This will offer better web fidelity, faster internet speed, smoother multitasking, energy efficiency, and an assortment of new features.
The biggest seller of this powerful handset is its dual-core processor. All of the new dual-core smartphones come with dual-core 1 GHz processors. The Sensation will come with a processor that possesses more power than we have ever seen. It will come with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.
