New Features Reveled On the Samsung Galaxy R
If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to Samsung’s current flagship the Galaxy S2, you might find it in the Galaxy R. The phone comes with a slightly smaller 4.2 inch display compared to the S2’s 4.3 inch touch screen. Although slightly smaller, it does not fall short on resolution. It also comes with a slightly weaker dual-core processor clocked at 1 GHz per core.
When it comes to the phone’s built-in camera, it comes with a 5 MP camera compared to the S2’s 8 MP. One thing we can say about the R is that it does not look anything like Apple’s iPhone 4 or any other smartphone by the Cupertino firm.
Now let’s take a look at the newly discovered features. The Galaxy R comes with a games hub, a social hub, a music hub, and a reader hub. This will make gaming, social networking, music downloads, eBook reading, and magazine purchasing more convenient and entertaining.
Sadly, the Korean tech giant Samsung has not made it official if the smartphone will ever make it to the UK. This is disappointing, but not surprising, since it would take away the focus from the Galaxy S2. Nonetheless, we’re still hoping the Galaxy R lands in the UK. It’s a great alternative if you don’t want to pay too much for the Samsung Flagship.
