LG Optimus Pro and Net Officially Announced
The Korean phone manufacturer LG has just announced 2 new additions to its Optimus line. These are the LG Optimus Pro and LG Optimus Net. 
We’re guessing that both handsets will compete in the mid-range market, since both will be sporting 800 MHz processors. They will be Gingerbread-powered.
The LG Optimus Pro will come with a Blackberry-esque full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.8 inch touch screen. This will be perfect for IMs, emails, your calendar, and social networks, due to hotkeys found on the enhanced keyboard. It also sports a 3 MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, an FM radio, Wi-Fi, and 3G.
In Europe, the LG Optimus Net will come with a 3.2 inch touch screen. In North America, this handset will come with a QWERTY keyboard bolted to the bottom of the display.
There will some units that will sport an NFC chip. This will allow users to make use of mobile payment services such as Google Wallet.
The prices of these handsets have not been officially released, but were more than certain that they will be more affordable judging from the specs. Both smartphones are expected to make an appearance this summer. We’ll keep you posted, once we hear more.
