Zenith, Accord, and Rio leaked – HTC’s first Windows Phone 8 handsets

Microsoft has recently unveiled Windows Phone 8, and already we’re beginning to see leaked handsets running the new software. The Verge’s ‘knowledgeable source’ has revealed the HTC Zenith, Accord, and Rio.

The Rio is a budget phone, sporting a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and a 5-megapixel camera.

The Accord is believed to be a mid-range handset, sporting a 4.3-inch 720p display, HSPA+, NFC, an 8-megapixel camera, and a dual-core processor.

The Zenith seems to be HTC’s high-end Windows Phone. It is said to sport a 4.7-inch 720p touchscreen, HSPA+, an 8-megapixel camera, and a quad-core processor by Qualcomm.

The three are expected to land within the year. The Rio and Accord are expected to land in October, while the Zenith is said to be landing sometime in Q4 2012. It looks the debut of the Rio and Accord will coincide with the launch of Windows 8.

Do you think HTC’s Rio, Accord, and Zenith running Windows Phone 8 can compete with current handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Apple iPhone 4S? Give us your thoughts.
