HTC Vigor rumored to be the first smartphone with Beats integration
When HTC invested $300 million in Beats by Dr. Dre, the Taiwanese phone giant quickly became a major shareholder in the bass-heavy headset maker. With this partnership, many wondered how HTC would integrate the technology into their handsets. Would they come with the high-end headsets by Beats, or would they come with Beats-powered speakers. Sadly, it is still undetermined how the phone maker would make use of the audio tech. However, there are rumors of the first HTC smartphone that will come with the technology. This is the HTC Vigor.
Unlike other handsets built around music, the HTC Vigor is a powerhouse of a smartphone. The smartphone will come packed with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor by Qualcomm under the hood, which makes it even more powerful than the current flagship the Sensation. The phone is also said to come with a touch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, which offers HD.
Aside from these rumored monster specs, the Vigor will also come with Beats integration. If you’re into heavy bass, you are sure to love listening to hip hop on this handset. With HTC’s latest $300 million investment, they might just have an advantage over the competition.
