Motorola Atrix HD to be last phone to bear Motorola Brand?

The Motorola Atrix HD has appeared on the company’s website. Since Google has fully acquired Motorola, does this mean the handset will be the last to bear Motorola’s branding?

The Atrix HD is an impressive handset. It sports a 4.5-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel camera, 8GB or internal storage, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The phone will run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). However, it is unknown when the handset will be updated to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

The phone is tough as well. Like the RAZR, it will be made of KEVLAR (the material used to make bulletproof vests) and will sport Corning Gorilla Glass.

Like the original Atrix, it is compatible with the Lapdock, an accessory that turns the phone into a laptop.

Do you think the Motorola Atrix HD will be the last Motorola-branded handset since Google acquired the company? Give us your thoughts.
