According to a memo from the US network operator Sprint, the Apple iPhone 5 may be coming before the 15th of October. Does this confirm rumors of an October release?
The memo reads, “Due to the possibility of a major phone launch in October, we are blacking out September 30th through October 15th”. This simply means that all hands should be on deck on the given dates. The question is, what phone will be coming in October?
Are we jumping the gun in presuming that this is the launch of the iPhone 5? Well, according to Bloomberg, Sprint will be including the iPhone 5 on their “Simply Everything Plan” (unlimited calls, SMS, and data). Is all just a coincidence?
Why can‘t Sprint afford their staff going on vacation? Well, if the 5th generation iPhone will be coming before the 15th of October, expect customers to be on queue from the start until the end of the day. It doesn’t make sense to be understaffed whenever Apple launches a new product.
Will the Apple iPhone 5 be coming on October? It definitely looks like it. We might just see this highly anticipated smartphone just like the rumors suggest.
Do you think the Apple iPhone 5 will be coming before the 15th of October, or do you still think there are no legs to these rumors? Give us your thoughts.

According to Kodawarisan, a Japanese website, Apple will be holding a media event on September 7 to announce a number of new products. Will we finally get to see the iPhone 5?
Normally, the house of Jobs launches new products in the month of September. This is usually the time we get to see refreshes of the iPod. In 2009, we saw a more powerful iPod Touch and an iPod Nano with an onboard camera. In 2010, Apple put a Retina Display on the iPod Touch and a smaller Nano was launched.
June is the year that we usually see an iPhone refresh. In June of 2010, we first saw the iPhone 4, introduced at Apple’s WWDC. We were expecting an iPhone refresh on June of 2011, but we got the iCloud instead. We did find out, however, that the iOS 5 will be rolling out on autumn. A new iteration of the iOS is usually featured on a new device. Word on the street is this new device will be the iPhone 5.
Past rumors suggested that Apple would be announcing the iPhone 5 on the 5th of September, which will eventually be launched in the UK on October. Will we finally see the 5th generation iPhone in September? Unfortunately, there’s no way to be certain.
What we can tell you is that Kodawarisan was accurate in predicting the Mac mini launch. It is highly possible that they are right on the button once again.
