According to Omnio, in a newsletter to its affiliates, Vodafone will no longer have the iPhone 4S 32GB, the iPhone 4S 64GB, the grey version of the HTC One X, the grey version of the HTC One V, the Blackberry Curve 8520, and the Vodafone Smart in stock.
With the arrival of the iPhone 5, it’s understandable why Vodafone is getting rid of the 32 and 64GB versions of the iPhone 4S. It’s also understandable why the network operator is still planning to keep the 16GB version in stock, since it will be a good budget iPhone. However, we not sure why the network will no longer have HTC’s high-end smartphones in stock. We’re guessing that the smartphones aren’t selling very well. Although they are only getting rid of the grey versions, this doesn’t look to good on HTC’s part. This doesn’t help the ailing Taiwanese firm at all.
Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) has recently rolled out to the One X. This is another reason why we don’t understand Vodafone no longer stocking up on the handset, since customers are likely to get their hands on a smartphone that runs a more updated version of Android. The latest version of Android is version 4.2.
The HTC One X was the Taiwanese firm’s former flagship, but has now been replaced by the One XL (the 4G version of the One X) and the One X+ (a beefed up version of the former flagship). Vodafone, however, does not offer the two.
No longer stocking up on the One V is another surprise, since it is a budget phone.
Are you surprised Vodafone will no longer be stocking up on the iPhone 4S 32GB or the iPhone 4S 64GB, or are you more baffled the network operator will no longer be stocking up on the grey versions of the HTC One X and the HTC One V? Share your thoughts through a comment on our Facebook page.

Between the Apple iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S3, have you ever wondered which phone emits more radiation? According to Tawkon (makers of a free app that measures and alerts you when radiation levels get too high), the S3 is safer to use.
According to Tawkon’s SAR infographic, the iPhone 4S is high on the chart at 1.1 W/kg (watts per kilogram). The Samsung Galaxy S3 is clocked at only 0.34 W/kg.
Of course, there is still an ongoing debate whether mobile phones emit enough radiation that can cause brain tumours. However, it’s still better to be safe than sorry. So, if you have the habit of keeping your phone under your pillow when you sleep, you might as well put your phone on your nightstand instead.
The SAR app is available for free on Google Play. It has been pulled from the Apple App Store due to “no interest in the app”. If you’re looking to install the app on your iPhone, you’ll have to jailbreak the device then download the app from Cydia.
