@evleaks has done it again. Previously, it leaked the Google Nexus 4, which was right on the money. Recently, it leaked the 5-inch HTC Deluxe, which is said to be a European version of the HTC Droid DNA. Now, the Twitter account has leaked the ZTE Grand X Pro.
Unlike most of the leaks by the Twitter account, this most recent leak doesn’t come with enough details. However, if its name is anything to go by, the Grand X Pro will be the follow-up of the Grand X. The Grand X sports 4.3-inch touchscreen and a dual-core processor, which didn’t do very well due to the arrival of today’s quad-core flagships such as the HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Compared to the Grand X’s 4.3-inch display, the Grand X Pro looks to sport a bigger screen probably a little bit shy of 5 inches. Since ZTE has added ‘Pro’ to the name, we’re likely to see more powerful specs compared to its predecessor.
When it comes to hardware, the Grand X packed a 1GHz dual-core processor, which is nothing compared to what today’s smartphones has to offer. We’re guessing the Grand X Pro will sport at least a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It may even sport a quad-core processor.
At this point, we still don’t know what version of Android the handset will run. Since the Grand X shipped running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), we’re guessing the X Pro will run at least Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
Although the ZTE Grand X wasn’t as popular as other Android-powered handsets, it was dirt cheap. Hopefully, the X Pro will be as affordable as the Google Nexus 4 at only £240 via Google Play.
As of now, this is all just speculation, so take this will a large dose of salt.
