A Samsung Nexus 10 (a rumoured 10-inch Nexus tablet) instruction manual has surfaced on the internet, giving us a glimpse on the rumoured device’s design.
According to previous leaks, LG will be making the Nexus 4, the next Nexus smartphone. According to this leaked manual seen by the Verge, the next tablet to run Android in its vanilla form will be made by Samsung, which lines up with previous reports. It also gives us an idea on what the device will look like.
It manual was leaked on Korean website, Seeko. It looks like the Samsung Nexus 10 will sport a rounded design. A huge Nexus logo is also found on its rear casing.
Previous reports suggest that the device will sport a touchscreen with an extremely high pixel count. Reports claim that the Nexus 10 will come with a display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.
Google will be hosting a special event on the 29th of October in New York. Here, it is expected to lift the lid on not one but rather three device. These three devices include the LG Nexus 4, a 32GB version of the Google Nexus 7 with 3G support, and the 10-inch Samsung Nexus 10 tablet. All devices are said to run Android 4.2, which is a minor update to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
With its rumoured 10-inch screen and extremely high resolution, it seems Google will be trying to put an end to the dominance of the iPad. Its rumoured 32GB version of the Google Nexus 7 with 3G support is likely to take on the iPad mini. However, it remains to be seen if these rumoured Nexus tablets will be able to better compete with Apple’s iPad.
