The XPERIA SL is expected to sport a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, a 12-megapixel camera, and 32GB of storage. It will look exactly like its predecessor the XPERIA S. The only differences in appearance are purple and pink casings.
Like the XPERIA S, the SL will sport a 4.3-inch display. Although this display is bigger compared to the 3.5-inch display on the iPhone 4S, it is smaller in comparison the massive 4.8-inch display on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
If you’re expecting the XPERIA SL to run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), you might be disappointed. According to rumours, the handset will ship running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
The handset is expected to be officially unveiled towards the end of this month.
