Apple wins appeal against UK Judge’s ‘Samsung didn’t copy the iPad’ ruling

In the UK, Judge Briss ruled that Apple should apologise to Samsung by running ads on its website and top publications stating the Korean firm did not copy the iPad with its Galaxy Tablets. This would have been a serious blow to the Cupertino firm, but Apple’s legal team won an appeal against the unusual and rather amusing ruling.

Apple’s legal team in the UK was successful in trying to convince the court to overturn the ruling that would have Apple run an ad of a rival’s product. Although the ruling did not go through, we can’t be certain if other cases in various places around the world will have the same outcome.

We’re you curious to see what Apple would have to say on their ad if the ruling went through? We know we were.
