Google has recently officially unveiled Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) running on a new device the Google Nexus 7. Now, according to DigiTimes, the search giant is working on a 10-inch version of their new tablet the Google Nexus 10.
The report claims that Google has contracted OU Optronics and Wintek to supply OGS (One Glass Solution) panels for their 10-inch tablet.
At first we thought the Google’s tablet would rival the iPad. However, the Google Nexus 7 targets the 7-inch Amazon Kindle Fire. With a 10-inch tablet, not only will it compete with the iPad, it will also compete with other tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Although the report does say that ASUS will be manufacturing the 10-inch tablet, it did not mention when to expect the tablet. Furthermore, it doesn’t mention if the tablet will be called the Google Nexus 10.
