Ice Cream Sandwich for Sony XPERIA S UK network availability

Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has already rolled out to Android handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation XE. It has also rolled out to unlocked versions of the Sony XPERIA S, but what about handsets locked to a network?

If you purchased an XPERIA S from O2, Orange, and T-Mobile, these network operators are yet to announce when they will be rolling out the ICS update for the handset. Vodafone is the only network that does not offer the handset. The only network that has rolled out the ICS update for the XPERIA S is Three. The update is available via PC Companion software, which means you’ll have to plug the phone into your PC.

Wondering when Ice Cream Sandwich will be rolling out to your Sony XPERIA S locked to a network other than Three? We’ll keep you posted once we know more.
