Google Maps offline mode for Android now available

If you love to use Google Maps on your HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S3, we have good news for you. Google Maps offline mode has just been updated for Android.

The app now comes with a button that allows you to download maps. It also allows you to drag and zoom in on an area that you want to save. Once you have made your selection, you can download the map right away. Once completed, you never have to consume data loading the map. The downloaded maps are saved in ‘My Places’, which can be found on the ‘offline tab’.

The updated Google Maps is now available in Google Play.
