Netflix UK app for Windows Phone now available in the UK

Netflix has been available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and even on a few smart TVs. Now, if you own an HTC Titan or a Nokia Lumia 800, you’ll be happy to know that the app is now available for Microsoft’s Windows Phone.

Netflix has recently announced that they have released the updated version of their app for Windows Phone in Ireland and in the UK. This will allow you to browse Netflix’s vast collection of movies and TV shows and stream it on your smartphone either via your 3G network or Wi-Fi.

The Netflix app for Windows Phone is compatible with any handset running the platform. This updated version comes with enhanced features and a few changes to the design.

The app will allow you to choose your local language, adjust audio language options, turn on subtitles, and tweak the app’s settings to make it run faster.

With the updated version of the Netflix app for Windows Phone in Ireland and the UK, this will definitely increase the value of Windows Phone handsets in the market. Furthermore, the app is a testament to Microsoft’s promise to make the Windows Phone Marketplace a competitive app store that will rival Google Play (formerly known as the Android Market) and Apple’s App Store.

Will the Netflix app make you get your hands on a Windows Phone? Give us your thoughts.
