Wondering when Samsung plans to officially unveil the Galaxy S3? Well, a purported leak of a Samsung event invite has surfaced on the internet, which points towards the S3’s official unveiling on the 22nd of May in London.
The leak also teases the Galaxy S2’s successor in a design we’ve never seen before. Although the leak only shows a part of the phone, the image shows a slim handset sporting a sculptured metal design, which is getting us more excited.
Fast, Vivid, Slim is also mentioned on the invite. Aside from the obvious slim profile, this suggests the phone sporting an HD display and impressive hardware, possibly a quad-core processor like previously reported.
DDaily, a Korean site, claims the S3 will sport a 720p 4.65 inch Super AMOLED Plus display. AsianE says the S3 will come packed with a quad-core processor under the hood and support 4G LTE. We’re hoping all of these rumours are true.
Samsung has not confirmed the invite, which means that this image may be a Photoshop job. Nonetheless, we’re hoping the invite is the real deal, which means that we’ll finally get to see the hotly anticipated smartphone on the 22nd of May.
Do you think this Samsung Galaxy S3 invite is the real deal, or do you think it’s a Photoshop render? Give us your thoughts.
