An anonymous source has leaked the photo taken in higher quality to GSM Helpdesk Netherlands, which was spotted by GSM Arena. Although there’s no way to know for certain if this is another Photoshop job or the real deal, it does allow us to get a better look at the alleged S3.
Aside from the better photo, the anonymous source does confirm the S3’s specs, some of which have already been reported in the past. According to the source, the S3 will sport dimensions of 131 x 64 x 8 mm. It is said to weigh in at 125 g. This means that the S3 will be .5 mm slimmer compared to its predecessor, but will be 9 g heavier. It will sport a 4.7 inch 720p display, which will be a Super AMOLED Plus just like the S2. It will also rock a 12-megapixel snapper that can record videos at 1080p. NFC and a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor will also be on board, but this time the source claims the phone will sport 1 GB of RAM instead of the 2 GB rumoured in the past.
The source also reveals that the S3 is scheduled to land in the 22nd of May. However, according to a separate report, Samsung may release the S3 earlier in April.
