According to this latest rumor, the Apple iPhone 5 will be delayed. If this new update is true, you might have to wait a little longer to get your hands on the 5th generation iPhone.
This report comes via 9to5Mac. A source told the website that Apple is experiencing production and design delays with the iPhone 5. This means it will not be landing on October.
There is, however, good news. 10 million units of the entry-level iPhone 4S is rolling out of the assembly line. You might not get your hands on the 5th generation iOS-powered smartphone, but you will get your hands on a new handset by Apple. According to the rumor, you should expect an official announcement on the 7th of October.
Is this rumor true? Going back to the antenna issues with the iPhone 4, Apple has learned from its mistakes. This means that it will not be taking any chances if there are any design flaws. There might be a delay, but we’re guessing it won’t take too long for Apple to get their design in order.
Of course, it will be wise to take this story with a grain of salt. Who knows? We might just see the iPhone 5 as previously expected.
