Vodafone now offers Sony Ericsson XPERIA Mini Pro

For all of you compact-smartphone lovers out there, Vodafone now offers the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Mini Pro.

This new handset is powered by Android’s smartphone-optimized operating system Gingerbread. Aside from more updated software, like its predecessor, the phone comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with predictive text and the Type and Send feature. Despite its compact dimensions, you will still get to enjoy easy typing when it comes to emails, chat, and SMS. With all of these goodies, you’ll be surprised to find out that the phone is only 136 grams.

You might not find the smartphone’s 3 inch touch screen ideal for viewing websites, pictures, and watching videos. However, you’ll be surprised to know that its display is powered the Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine. This will allow you to watch videos in 720p or HD. You can also record videos in HD with its 5 MP camera.

Do not worry about getting the same processor just like its predecessor. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Mini Pro does not sport a dual-core processor like a lot of the flagships around today, but it comes with enough clock speed that rivals other high-end smartphones in the market. It packs a 1 GHz single-core processor under the hood.

Vodafone is offering the Mini Pro for free at £25 a month with a 24 month contract. This comes with 500 minutes, 250 text, and 500 MB data allotment.
