Sony Ericsson XPERIA Ray “Coming Soon” to Vodafone

Vodafone has just confirmed that the Sony Ericsson would be added to their list of products. The news was confirmed on the network operator’s website, which announced that the Gingerbread-powered smartphone would be “coming soon”. Despite the announcement, it is still unknown when the smartphone will be available, but we’re guessing that it won’t be a long wait.

Aside from the original black version, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Ray will also be available in a gold version. Hope it doesn’t look tacky though.

If you like the slim dimensions of the XPERIA Arc, you’re going to love the Ray. Compared to the Arc’s width of 63 mm, the Ray is a mere 53 mm wide. Due to its spender profile, it only comes with a 3.3 inch touch screen. Despite this, SE managed to pack in a 1 GHz single-core processor under the hood.

Other features include an 8.1 MP camera, powered the Exmor R CMOS sensor, which will allow you to capture high-quality images and record high-definition videos in even the poorest lighting conditions.

Are you looking for a slender Gingerbread-powered smartphone that does not fall short on processing power and allows you to enjoy high-quality images and videos? Does the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Ray fit the bill? Let us know what you think.
