If you’ve found this post then it’s likely that on your iPhone 5 search travels you’ve probably been exposed to so many rumours that sorting the chaff from the wheat has become almost impossible but we’ve now got some pretty good news for you.
It transpires that Apple have booked the Moscone Centre where the WWDC 2011 event is due to be held this year where they invite important techies and application developers to discuss the future of the App Store and other important issues which may not sound that exciting until we remind you that for the last couple of years the ‘big man’ Steve Jobs has appeared in person on stage to announced the latest iPhone.
The Californian firm that operate the Moscone Centre have now confirmed that although it’s booked by who they believe to be Apple from June 5th to 10th the event itself is due to kick off from June 6th which is now being touted as Apple iPhone 5 day.
The new iPhone 5 will have nothing official confirmed in terms of specification before the day but unconfirmed leaks and rumours dictate that we can expect a dual core processor, a large 4 inch screen with edge to edge display and NFC technology for wireless payments.
Considering Steve Job’s health of late it may not be the man himself on the big stage although he did manage to make it to a recent event showing his dedication to the company but whoever it may be on the day it seems that June 6th is the day to be put in your diary as iPhone 5 day.
